First of all, this is a hatelisting. Hatelistings will always touch upon touchy subjects. Fun fact: Note that the creator and maintainer of this hatelisting is, indeed, female.
While it is perfectly normal to be a fan of something (I too have favorite things) this hatelisting is dedicated to those fans of the female population who take their fandoms (or characters they love) and raise them up onto a ridiculously high pedestal to the point where it's no longer a healthy obsession. This is dedicated to those female fans who will sit there for hours and completely trash others either because they like somebody else of the same fandom or they detest their center of attention.
I just can't wrap my head around how these girls can be so closed minded. It's fandom! Sure some people may take their fandoms and love it so much that they make it a way of life (nerding out hardcore) and again, that's totally okay. What bugs me, personally, are the girls who are so unreasonable about their obsessions that you're embarrassed to know they belong to the same fandom you do. Almost makes you feel guilty for being a fan.
Get a life: all of you.
